Coverage for third-party claims arising from your operations, products, or professional conduct. We structure liability programmes that address your actual exposure profile.

Liability exposure extends far beyond what most standard policies cover. From contractual indemnities to product recalls, from professional negligence to environmental contamination — we map your complete liability profile and ensure your coverage matches your actual risk.
Many businesses carry liability policies that have never been reviewed against their contractual obligations, operational footprint, or the specific claims scenarios they're most likely to face. A standard policy at market terms is not the same as a policy designed for your risk.
We analyse your actual liability exposure and structure programmes that respond to the scenarios most likely to produce a claim — not generic coverage that looks adequate until it's tested.

Liability Insurance
Frequently asked questions about liability coverage.
Public Liability covers claims from your operations and premises (e.g., a customer slipping on your floor). Product Liability covers claims from defects in products you manufacture or sell (e.g., a faulty component causing injury). Most businesses need both.
D&O limits should reflect company size, industry risk, regulatory exposure, and claim history. We benchmark against similar companies and review wording carefully — two policies at identical limits can respond very differently to the same claim.
PI is mandatory for certain regulated professions (doctors, lawyers, architects). For others, it's often required contractually by clients. Even without mandate, if you provide advice or services that clients rely on, PI protects against negligence claims.
Most standard liability policies exclude cyber risks. With the DPDP Act introducing data protection obligations, dedicated cyber coverage is increasingly essential. We structure cyber policies covering both first-party costs and third-party liability.
Recalls are triggered when a product poses a safety risk. Standard product liability doesn't cover recall costs — only the resulting injury claims. Recall insurance covers notification, retrieval, disposal, and business interruption costs.
Occurrence policies cover claims arising from incidents during the policy period, regardless of when the claim is made. Claims-made policies cover claims made during the policy period, regardless of when the incident occurred. PI and D&O are typically claims-made.
